Understand Each Subtest Passing Grade

The CPNS SKD has three subtests with different passing grades: TWK at least 65, TIU at least 80, and TKP at least 166. You must clear all three, not just the total. Many candidates fail by chasing a high score in one subtest and ignoring the threshold in another.

Pace Yourself Across 100 Minutes

You answer 110 questions in 100 minutes. Budget about a minute for each TIU question that needs calculation, and do not linger on TWK recall items. Flag doubtful questions and return to them at the end if time allows.

Master TKP With the 5-4-3-2-1 Scale

TKP is not scored right or wrong but on a 5-to-1 scale. Blank items score 0, so always answer every TKP number. Choose the option that best reflects professionalism and the interest of the organization, not merely the one that sounds nice.

Practice all three subtests evenly using a CAT tryout that mirrors the BKN interface so there are no surprises on exam day.
